The 2003-2004 Scholarship

The Atlanta Chapter of the National Defense Transportation Association, NDTA will award 2003-2004 scholarships for Atlanta Area students. The chapter will be awarding scholarships for the 2003-2004 academic year based on the following criteria:
1. Students must be enrolled or enrolling in a four-year college pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in a major, which contributes, to the transportation industry.
2. Students enrolled in a formal two-year program through a community college or a junior college wishing to pursue a degree, which contributes, to the transportation industry.
3. Scholarship awards will be based on merit and be judged by a panel of Atlanta NDTA members.
· Students applying for an Atlanta NDTA Chapter Scholarship do not need to be members of the NDTA.
· Students selected to receive an Atlanta NDTA Chapter Scholarship will be asked to attend an Atlanta Chapter function to receive their respective award.
· All awards will be forwarded to student’s respective college as directed by National Chapter counsel.
If you are interested, please complete the application form (see below) and return it along with a copy of your high school or most current college transcript(s), and two letters of reference to:

All applications must be submitted no later than December 15, 2003.
If possible, all applications should be typed. Only completed applications with all attachments will be considered for a scholarship award. All information is held in strict confidence. Successful applicants will be notified of the award by April 2004.
